One of the finest pioneer barbers in the region, Yanto, is the Founder of The Golden Rule Barber Co., a gentleman barbershop specialise in giving men the most contemporary hairstyles like a pompadour or a side-part; and have carved a new direction in the evolution of barbershops. Yanto won the Fast Fade award in 2017 making the Asians proud to have a world champion in the hair industry. He is also WAHL educator and a musician.
 
Yanto music career didn’t go as plan so he switched to becoming a full pledge barber and together with his wife and friend, they opened a barber shop and built a prolific brand. From starting out just small shop with 4 chairs, to now making headlines in the hair industry globally. Yanto Sani has emerged victorious on Mediacorp's Malay songwriting contest Projek Lagu after 10 weeks of competition.During the final on Tuesday (Nov 9), the 38-year-old business owner – he co-owns barber shop The Golden Rule – edged out three other finalists to win the grand prize of S$20,000 in cash, wowing the judges and the audience with his songs Bebas and Menutup Dosa.
 
After discussions in 2022, Mosta Records offered to release all the songs that was contested in the competition to be released on vinyl . This is the first time Mosta Records offered to an artist that is outside their artist management umbrella. 
 
All songs were written by Yanto Sani. As with all of our releases, it is mastered for vinyl by Jack White’s engineer Bill Skibbe from Third Man Mastering. 
 
Pressed at Standard Vinyl from Canada on a Transparent Blue 12 inch vinyl with insert plus an Obi Strip in honour of Japanese style releases.  This is the ninth release from Mosta Records.
